All correct. It does change the way you dismantle trees, whereas before you might take care not to overload the groundies, not lay stuff on top of itself too much, now you bomb it down, bigger the better, easier to grab and get to the chipper.

Funny you should say that, I said to the wife just now that I’ve not felt better in the morning for as long as I can remember. I did have the kubota and grab for a couple of years now so the heavy lifting is finished anyway. A perfect storm of a fixed shoulder, good nights sleep, an easy...

Thanks Fred, I was telling the lads today about it as they shoveled chip, the hopeful look on their pathetic little faces melted my cold heart ❤️ then I told them it meant one of them would be sacked! (Joking!)

Well, it's been a journey, as they say, but it's here. Had a play with it out the back and we're happy enough with the way it works. Having seen it being used on numerous vids we get how to manœuvre the grapple into position, though not expert level yet! Looks nice as well.

He says he fits them to MultiOne machines. Lifting capacity without using the telescopic on straight on level ground is 1280kg (presumably minus attachement's weight)

Ok, I'm convinced, I'll get one in a few months when the dust has settled on my account. Thanks for the pics and explanations.

So here for example, you'd lose a mètre of lift height using a bmg. Plus you'd have to get the balance just right to land it flat/straight compared to a grab like this.

You know the grapple thing intrigued me. As some may know I'm getting a new loader and asked about a bmg. They couldn't supply one so I just went for the silage grab. I look at the vids and cannot see how it would be advantageous to have one, if I was feeding a massive chipper yes. You're...
