    I don't know the minutiae but I'm pretty certain you would need an excuse to carry any blade, ie carpet fitter etc.

    There is/was a problem with young men especially carrying knives, so when a fight erupts they come out and get used. So whereas under normal circumstances a fight would result in fisticuff type injuries (broken bones etc) with knives people were/are dying. There is a comparison of course to guns...

    Because of the relative lack of guns, knife crime became a reason for worry. (People stabbing each other)

    All or nothing guys are quitters. You just didn't try hard enough. Go and put the kettle on. I'm sure there are some fruit teas you haven't tried yet.

    I drink every night. I like it, it helps relieve the boredom and allows me to really get into the zone when I start shouting at the TV, I'd hate to miss out on that.

    Withdrawing from heavy alcohol? That's an odd thing. He had a hangover? Still drunk or what? If you're getting the DTs you're shaking a lot.
