    Those are the ones I got from Brian and they are angled. I love em - not bulky in the least.

    I only do it when the strap is too long. I didn't notice any diff one way or the other, but a lot of climbers swear by the wrap. I think it's all in their head. The important thing is tightness.

    I never in my life saw another climber wear shin pads, like I did my entire career. I did hear a lot of them complaining about their shins hurting, though. Never did understand why they didn't do like me. A few bucks at walmart!

    Heck yea - keep the hooks. I like the steel shincups (thanks, Brian), but most people love the (bulky) caddy pads.
