Good luck man... I had the same idea, to try to mod a 3/4 for my 440 just because I could never see spending over $100.00 on a stupid handle-bar, which is what they cost! The U.S.A. bars from Madsen's are a great deal, but don't last too long. Don't know if you could tweak em to fit an Echo...- Jed
