That chute is definitely a liability now. If it swings while you're heading through LA and takes some bodies head off, think about that, let alone if it swings while chipping and a passer by take a piece of Palm frond in the eye. Aside from the obvious though, you've got an open and shut case...

I agree Nick! It should definitely be covered, AND you should be given, or even have one delivered, a demo in the mean time. I would have my dealer by the short and curlys if this happened to me.
Much like I said about the future warranty. Make the dealer do it! I could see if you had just handed them 8 grand for somebody else's problem, but you didn't.
That is why I haven't changed yet. I wanted to research it more. Currently I use Lucas Red and Tacky with no issues to date.
I would approach Morbark about their warranty before you take on a main bearing job. Who knows what they will do to your warranty if something goes wrong in the future and...
