To make those shades work properly you need air space between it and your head, that's why their designed to velcro inside along the sides and rear of the helmet.

Acklands Grainger. They last forever with years of repeated washes, Velcro never have failed on my dozen or so. I'm not sure what the store is called in the U.S. It may be either one of those 2 names or maybe both.

I got that helmet shade from Bailey's too. It's actually not the right one for that helmet [modified] , it fits my Pacific helmet I couldnt find the full brim helmets shade. I just stuffed it under my helmet for the pic...... the velcro strip on the helmet was not the shades mate so they don't...

It's not so much as sticking too you that's important, but able to breath and be light even with some sweat saturated in them. These Dicke shirts are 100% synthetic with no cotton which makes them a real nice quick dry work shirt. The early Dicke shirts from about 5 year ago were kind of rough...

These Ventilation pants I just got here must be the latest versions you got from Europe. I noticed they 're the "A" model and if I'm not mistaken there's a "B" model also available with the extra protective padding in the rear leg. I see the U.K. merchants advertise the 20 m/s rating with the...

I've had alot of comments . One went "Cool SWAT pants"! Seriously they are the only way to put in a 8 hr day professionally with a chainsaw as your trade tool. On a hot humid day it's not my legs that I need to regulate my body heat, it's my head and upper body that needs the attention :D

I did some research and from what I gather the ventilation Pfanner chainsaw pants "may" have EN 381 class 1 20m/s saw protection with the new models Tree Stuff has in stock. In the U.K. suppliers with the vents have this rating, plus there are a "A" and a "C" models available, the C having extra...

Thanks Nick. I'm Ok with it....that's just how it is shipping things to Canada. Peter I think you're referring to the Pfanner Gladiators which do spec 20mps. The thin Ventaltion pants are not advertising their threshold chain speed rating. If they do please post it for me. All they say is...

I changed my mind on the ventalation Pfanners. Couldn't find a threshhold chainspeed rating on them so no go for our Canadian workplace safety laws. But I did order a pair of the Pfanner pant suspenders. Mary again did a very professional job putting in my order. Looks like no more Bailey's...

It's warming up here into the 80's now , by the time we're in the 90's soon I should have my Pfanner vent pants. Yes I can imagine the heat you get down in the old south. I heard some good stories of loggers dealing with the heat working those big pine plantations, saw one old vintage National...
