    Are you in your PRIME?

I count myself lucky at 55yrs, but my wife at 42 is ready for a knee replacement after years of 8 hrs a day standing in a courtroom.

Butch made a good point about the wraps. When I got into weight training over 20yrs ago I wrapped my knees with two 4 ft long pieces of tensor elastic bandages, wrap your knee area for about a foot then tuck the free end into the wrap, amazing support. But Stephen also gives good advice about...

Too much politics and B.S. in gyms . Plus waiting in line, working out next to a guy who hasn't showered in weeks...........

Just a couple of 2x4s and some carriage bolts Dylan, the power rack can fit in any corner of the house. Or outside for all that goes.

Really nice setup Butch, would have been great for me back in my bachelor days. But with all the kids and grandkids I have now I'd lose a couple of them from them getting hurt on the stuff.

The best thing that ever happened to me was when I lost my IWA union paid hand falling job in the early '90s when I was replaced by mechanical harvestors. Now I'm my own boss as an arborist and not having to worry about the scaler ripping me off any more. Like I said earlier the best strength...

    Are you in your PRIME?

Yup, I never take things personal anymore over the net, just let it slide and just take the gratification if you helped anyone out. Its easy to see how teens can be bullied on the internet , take things way too personal .......and take their own darn life with it.

How true, also I'll add....... bring your fists to a gunfight is not a good plan. Here's a good video of our flour packing competiton, these guys are carrying upwards of around 1000 pounds, I'm told you need a strong neck to do this competiton. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5EdPA+XL5U

Thor, I always believed if a person needed to do 2 weight training exercises it would be deadlifts and pullups and that's all I have done for years now, twice a week. I'm 5' 11", 205 lb, but now 195 since I have gone gluten and dairy free for the last several months. I have lost some power...

    Are you in your PRIME?

Butch I have many fond memories of the cooks and cookees from the camps I lived in. Steak and shrimp every Thursdays and fish and chips on Fridays when everyone goes home for the weekend. We had one tough cook who was a big French Canadien from Quebec, Jacque was his name. One night he went...

    Are you in your PRIME?

Now that I'm 55 I feel I'm still in good shape and can still deadlift 315 lbs for 20 reps of sets of 3 with 2 minute rest and still have no body aches. But damn my mind is working so much better now:lol: ......you get to a age where most of the time all you think about is all the stupid things...
