Very little is actually recycled. It's expensive, isn't very successful, and takes a lot of energy.
It sure makes you feel better about buying more shit and tossing it in the ♻️.
Not at all like carbon credits.....
Is there a giant ATM where you can redeem your carbon credits with Mother Nature?
It's outrageous. Sequestration and carbon credits are along the same lines as recycling.
Recycling was never intended to help anything except for Wallstreets bottom line...by encouraging guilt free...
It's hilarious because we can make changes. Real, positive steps towards improving our environment.
But, since no one wants to make changes....they focus on "problems" they can't fix.
The "science" that everyone is so terrified by is so anti science as to be laughable.
If there is carbon in excess in the soil, then there is not adequate soil life.
You can have too much carbon.
It's like too much salt in your food. No one wants it.
How would that be good for soil health?
You remove carbon you remove life in the soil.
Or at least remove potential.
CO2? More plants and animals.
Easy.
Well....seeing how we...all of us are carbon....and most of what isn't water on this planet is carbon....and one kind of mean ole carbon isn't really worse than the others...we actually need more life forms on the planet.
The carbon is here. What you might sequester would only go towards making...
Holy cow!
Man you east coasters have a glum look on things! Hahaha!
If you want to sequester it...like that guy in North Dakota....who is making millions...you should keep recycling so we can pump more plastic into the oceans.
We mustn't sequester the carbon. Its a scam, and a dangerous...
You can't sequester carbon with carbon credits...or by using the current model for modern agriculture.
When carbon was "sequestered" times were really shifting bad on the planet.
You can't "sequester" anything.
My goodness....might as well try to stop a volcano from erupting.
All you can do is try and get the carbon working for you.
