We were at a structure fire in the winter one time. The fire had burned away the service drop and it was lying live in the snow. It was night time and we never saw it but a fire fighter nudged it with his boot by accident and the most gawd awful white flash scared the shit outta us...
Yeah, I had my service drop replaced at home. The power co. does the work and sells the parts. It was 2300 bucks. Might have been cheaper seeing how its a co op.
I would definatley call the power company and explain it to them.
Does insurance cover anything like this if the costs get high? Negotiate with the power co.?
