Son caught a nice perch at the local res the other day. I caught a eating size channel and 5 others with crappies.

Love scallops. Great pics. 8) @Limbrat Just know them as bay though. The little tasty small ones. The bigger ones like half dollar not so much on flavor. Cant think of their name off hand. Maybe I just call them sea.

I forgot to post a few pics from sons fishing trip. Day 3 morning fishing before they headed back on the road south. They just had to wet those lures a few more times. Son said he got skunked.

Day 2. Son tried to keep totals. Day 2 yielded a total of 42 fish. 32 smallmouth, 3 largemouth, 2 perch, 2 Rock bass, 1 northern pike, one channel cat and one white bass.. Catfish weighed 9lb 12oz, gpa got a 4.5 lb smallmouth, randy a 3lb 12oz smallmouth, and my personal best 3.5 lb smallmouth...

If we eat one. Fry with egg cornmeal etc or deep fry beer batter. These made this one year for supper.

Sunday at the Sandusky River during the white bass run. Caught a mess 13" to 15". 16" and bigger is a fish Ohio award fish. We caught none but son was close with 15". Son in pic

Thats a great story stig. I remember my dad transplanting a pike in to a farm pond I used to fish. I never did catch him over the years. Dad did find him floating in the pond many many years later though. My son has hooked and fought 2 muskys so far this year. 1 on 4lb test and crappie rig...
