Other way around. Guys put the 72 cutters on the 76 lighter chassis for racing.
I have yet to be able to run a stock loop of it to see how it cuts. All was spoke for before it got in my hands this time around. 505dl worth or 8 loops.
So how is it? I was thinking my ported 346 46cc OE...
Just sharing the old boxes with the info on the back of the Oregon 76LG chains. Looks like between the 2 pics of backs you can read everything.
Oregon 76LG 3/8 050 chains
Found almost a 100' feet of the older Oregon 73 LG with out lines and not tilted cutter like the newer stuff. Could also use the cutters to put on the 76 LG chassis. ;) Just posting becuase I know some were wanting it. ;)
Here is just a piece of that old 72LG to look for and the chain builders are looking for because of the cutter. I found a bunch of it. :D
Here is also a Olberg copied file that is good for Wink $8.95 at Madsen's
The guy I used to buy from doesn't have a online store anymore it seems. But I did send you a link for $15 a loop and $5 shipping for all the loops you want sent for only $5.

What am I asking for RSC 3/8 050 or 063 and drive link count?
I'll check.

I use RSC and cant tell much difference from RS or RSK. They say comfort for the C part. But I didnt have any issues with the RS. :? Good chain, but very pricey by the loop.
Have any of you ran the 3/8 LGX oregon that has the blue tinted cutters for any extend time yet? Seems to be on par with the 3/8 RSC stihl stuff in my little uses.
I watched a guy in his 80's or 90's at Chardon.
Reflexes man reflexes aint there for me. Yeah anyone can race, but to be competitive with the people I was going against is a total different ball game and when it just isnt FUN anymore, it's time to walk JMO.
Plus the final straw came with my...
No not me Willard. I lost the passion to race and decided after Webster event this year and missing 2 races in a row afterwords to hang it up.
I had fast enough saws, I just admitted to myself that I wasnt a good enough operator to run with the young guns. Heck my cold start alone was...
Question: Do the Laser presets and tie straps work with the Oregon chains?
Just guessing I am going to say yes because I had a race chain once that appeared to be a combination of both.
