I normally would have if I was just felling it MB. Probably just use chain binders. Since I was taking all the head weight off it first and I had it suspended, more or less, with the rigging line, I felt the two straps were plenty. Amazing how much that crack closed after taking 2/3rds the tree...
Loved working this one SRT as well Sean. The fact I never had to untie my tip or disconnect from it to redirect or install an FS was nice. Never solely tied to the hazard. If I had to bail at any time, just like jumping off with an 8. Love that HH!

This oak was all tangled in two trees and the HO wanted it down and leave the trees it was hung in.
