Ya know I never have either. However the little bounce takes a lot of the touchiness out of the zig-zag and makes things run a lot smoother it seems.- CoreyYLTG

Yale 11.7MM Blue Tongue 24 Strand climbing rope just showed up at my house. I've been climbing on it a few days and have to say it is my favorite rope to use with Zig-Zag now. The extra little bounce is kind of nice oddly enough.- CoreyYLTG

Yale Imori does not work well. Needs at least 15' of tail before it will self feed. Bought it for use with ZigZag and only use it SRT with split tail now.- CoreyYLTG
