The fuel line looks too close to the exhaust manifold. I think steel lines came stock. Probably safer.- Cobleskill

I bought a Radiator Genie kit. One wand for air and one for garden hose. Works quite well. $30 or thereabouts I think.- Cobleskill

Retarded timing can make it run hot. Know anyone who still has a timing light? Lean fuel mixture will also. Does it have good power? Do the plugs look right?- Cobleskill
