    I see reading back a bit you have a bladder tank. Did you add that recently? With a bladder tank you should not even need a AVC. The flying saucers copper line goes to the side of the pump, right?

    It is an air volume control. It adds air to your water tank to prevent it from becoming "waterlogged." About 20 bucks.
