Haha, thanks for that. I'm pretty sure I could have figured it out if I had the rope in my hand; after tying it about 10,000 times over the years. I wonder how many running bowlines I've tied; maybe 50,000?
The tallest tree I ever climbed for removal was a Tulip poplar in New Jersey in 1983. That was right before I moved to Florida. It was about 120 feet tall and I had an 80 foot drop zone. I spiked up to the first live limb at 60+ feet and dropped the top from there. My 120 foot climbing line left...
Y'all have some tall skinny trees out there. How tall are they? Looks like 100' or more but I may be way off. Here in Florida, it's rare to see a pine tree over 80'-90'.
