    Put the money into a HitchHiker instead. Choke the spar. Don't rely on your rope moving (not pinned by a branch or log) to get down in an emergency. $.02. I still use my friction saver... for crane work. Seriously, its important to be good at DdRT and SRT in order to know what it the best way...

    Did the job, Gary? I used what turned out to be a 1/2" sprout once, only a foot over a 10"/ 10" co-dom crotch. A catcher is good. 1/2" didn't flinch at bounce testing, rope right at the collar.
