I like the rings a lot, or I should say I like the idea of them. I think they are better suited to marine use. Dirt will kill them in short order. But then again you can pry the ring out of a Tenex sling and slip in a new one easy enough. . .

I love these things as re-directs. Great way to take full advantage of the compressive strength of the tree, or add more rope into a system. Dirty ropes will kill them in short order.
