I see a hit on your rig. Maybe you can charge or delivery and pay for the trip.

I completely understand that. The bedroom addition for my daughter will wait until next spring now. No mechanic friends who like to drive?

I paid my mechanic Buddy $500 + airfare. I made three times that the first day he was gone. He has a CDL so had to maintain a log. He left sat at 4 and arrived Mon at noon. Planning a flight to Mn?

Sweet truck. It is as peppy as my F250 and is perfectly matched with my 200XP. About 20 yds of chip and four inches lower than my one ton, so end loading is a breeze. I snap some pics tomorrow. Only prob is I have to pull the pintle to dump. Don't ask how I know and my aluminum welder isn't...

Hey, it's Nick! Thanks Nick, I've talked with him several times. I agree with you. The truck is ready and being picked up Sat at 1. I should be behind the wheel on Mon.

I'll just have the body delivered. I had been wondering if this is how it might be in the land of Fargo. Kidding aside and BS as well, Sam seems on the up and up. We spoke today. Apparently he "missed" my last email saying I would be there this weekend. Either way I should be in the...

You're probably right Chris, but being in business and looking at a move, I think I would probably be squeezing every second as well. I am buying tickets in the am after we speak. As long as I think he's serious. Bren, those hooks are few and far between for the money.

So far, only 10% and some headaches from my other half. The 10 is refundable.

Nearly bought tickets to send my mechanic/ buddy out next fri. Got a message saying not until the 9 th. it's gonna be somebody else's truck real soon. I hate being in need. I passed up two hooklift trucks in the meantime.

I will still freeze the body first. I didn't figure you were talking about the old days. I would've ripped his head off too. I tend to give people the benefit way too often.

Last week he told me he only had one removal scheduled for the next three weeks and no pruning.:? Edit: I got an email this morning saying to come get it. I have to guess he is hesitant due to selling out and moving. Cannot say I blame him.

Well,it seems as though now he has received payment, in the form of a substantial deposit, he is keeping this rig until Sept. Apparently this is more convenient for him. I think I should reduce the cost by a certain percentage. What do you think?

Good to know! Thanks Chris. I think I will be putting a relocation kit on.

Here is what was done to that truck this spring. From the mechanics website, and after speaking to the tech who worked on it I am confident it is mechanically sound. The owner bought it three yrs ago in Fl and it has been in a barn from Oct-April, less emergency work. I really hope it is all...

Yeah. I'll drop it by for the full polish when I get back.:D We are in agreement about a third party, so if I can find someone, I'll be happy. Otherwise I am flying out in a week or so to do it myself and hopefully bring it back East.

I spoke with both Sam and his mechanic and it has been repaired. They did a thorough job. I trust them both, but would be happy with another opinion before I make the trek.
