I had the same problem but I was able to replace it with a new one. IIRC it was a widespread problem and the replacement pad was free.- OTGBOSTON

I love mine. I'm on my second one, only because the original one had metal grommets holding in the headliner and they rusted out and broke from my head sweat.- OTGBOSTON
