make sure its square and it has attachment points on the very corners and in the middle 6 attachment points in all. I just got one on ebay for a wall on el cap and it sucked, the thing was impossible to set up because it wasn't square due to damage on the corners im never buying a used ledge...

and if he/she wants 'em skinned bring a razor knife, if you're not going to do srt you could put on an srt base tie and then throw a drt setup onto it where it comes out of the fronds towards you. trying to drt over the fronds and spikes would def. do a number on your rope.
