Not sure. I don’t use the wrench enough to really know. I’ve got at least three wrenches and probably five different tethers. I just didn’t feel like digging for my rope runner today.
Finally used the reon rounds tether I bought years ago. It was ok. Decent sized pin oak that had large dead and suffered storm damage. Sealed the large wounds.

Multiple cables at different elevations maybe? In the first pic the center looks kinda thin compared to the left side. Is it getting choked out from the opposing stems?
Max is legendary in tree work and in his food presentation. I would like to work along side of and enjoy a meal with him someday. That would require me to leave my quarter of our country which would be a huge step for me
Thinning doesn’t last long on them when overly thinned. Most people get them liontailed and that makes them worse. End weight on the larger lower limbs typically becomes an issue
