Since you got 10 of them on hard surface and they look pretty short, i would be lazy and rent some scaffold on wheels to piece them out if they're as short as they look. I would pull the scaffold out of the way before you start blocking so it doesn't get hit, cripple it, climb down, move...

Thats a wire rope one with a keeper, so it's not cheap, but I'm pretty sure someone makes ones for fiber rope too. I would be very tempted to build my own at those prices.

You can get one of those 1 sided pulleys to automatically drop the line when the log gets to them. They're designed with only 1 cheekplate and you use a little tapered stopper above your choker to kick it off.

@CurSedVoyce it never ceases to amaze me how dry and dusty it is where you're at! I managed to get the first terrace cleaned up of ivy, and i should be able to use the backhoe on the other 2 levels because they don't have anything the wife wants to save. I stood up funny while i was doing it...

Yeah his early stuff was great, and he's pretty good live (pre trump days is when i saw him). His history of rock and kid rock stuff albums are still in regular rotation on my playlist.
