Is Carl still on here? Rutherford, right? I remember him from a few years ago, but I've been out for a while

    Mini Skids

Looks like I have to check out the AL option as well, lucky for me the kubota dealer also sells Avant. Has anyone used the new bobcat AL?

    Mini Skids

I don't follow, one is hands down better than the other? Or they're too different to compare?

    Mini Skids

How is the cab for getting in /out repeatedly. My 3 concerns for Articulated loader vs mini skid are overall footprint for jobsite maneuvering and trailer space, stability on slopes (easier to jump off a mini skid), and hassle of getting on /off frequently. Ease of on /off really struck me when...

    Mini Skids

Time to spark up this thread again. I'm in the market for a mini, I rented one for a big job recently and realized that I simply MUST have one on hand at all times. I used the new kubota scl 1000 and the dingo tx1000, both with a "skidder grapple" that I was not familiar with (Ryan's I think, or...

    Acquiring equipment.

I bought my f250 with the gas engine at I am not that familiar with diesel, but after a wild of hauling my chipper around, I want diesel. Our chipper is diesel, and I'm looking for a diesel mini skid. My chip truck is an 89 Ford f450 with the 461 gas engine, it's a beast, and a thirsty beast. It...

    Official Guns Thread

35 shots? I don't have that many rounds in a single loading for my hunting rifle. I just got it this year (savage axis II 6.5 Creedmoor) , during the shortage craziness. I searched around to find find a box of this, a box of that, etc. Last year and a half jump started my gun collection, bought...

Wind storm damage. How would you handle it solo?

Chiming in late here, but any thoughts on hanging the whole thing from the 2 oaks it's leaning into? Then cutting the base, secured to a trunk behind it to control its release, then lowering the tree as sections are cut from the bottom? I've never done this myself, and it seems like too much for...

Looks like a great time. I'm hoping to get a new-er bike and some more ride time myself in the spring

Looks like he had a serious Dutchman on the far side of his notch? (The right side as viewed from his helmet while they are getting him out). The left side has fiber pull, the right side is a clean cut, seems to me that's what caused it to grab the saw.

    Monkey Beaver Saddle

I have a small, there's a medium and large, not sure if that covers the ludicrous range or not. . . The jump between small and medium was noticeable, but not huge, so I would guess the large is a bit bigger than average but not monstrous

    Monkey Beaver Saddle

Yeah, it's the monkey beaver. They're really hard to get ahold of right now, I got lucky at the Baltimore expo.
