Perfect. Thanks. The local Husky dealer said they couldn't get it for me. So I started searching parts sites ect. I only saw coils for 2001 and up. I was trying to avoid the 272 coil option if possible. Thanks C4F.

The limited non-limited info I read. The rod problems........never. We used this saw for about 5 years without issue. Then the coil failed. We stopped fighting with the fat butts anyway. Any links would be appreciated. FRED

Hello all. I have a Husqvarna 3120xp with a bad coil. I am not sure exactly but I think it is from 93 or 94. Can somebody point me in the right direction. I am reading a lot of conflicting things about this dilemma. Thanks! Also, if you are interested in buying it make me an offer.:D
