Today we're going to a Celebration of Life For Wes Burns. Long time friend of Jerry's. Lost to a very long and hard battle with cancer. Wes is the man on the ropes on the cover of High Climbers and Timber Fallers. Very sad.

Awaiting the arrival of another strong Pineapple Express. Rain is supposed to start today and dump on us intermittently for a week, along with wind.

245 miles south of us, near Santa Cruz, an EF1 tornado. flung multiple cars around, injured people, and other damage. Crazy!

We pay a high price in multiple ways, I guess. Being California born I am used to quakes and they don't really scare me. The scaredest I've ever been is when I went to Kansas to visit my daughter and there was a tornado nearby. I will take a shaker over a tornado anyday!!

Jerry is great. He's been clearing brush and trees in our yard, which keeps an old guy busy. He tells me he is just taking a break from the forums. He'll be back eventually. Thanks for asking, Cory.
