    Georgia splicers?

I can splice it for you if you still need it done. I live in Douglasville but am about to move to Marietta.

    How's the splice today?

Thanks, the instructions are pretty fancy compared to the older pdf's from Samson, etc. The only "problem" I've seen after a quick glimpse is their class 1 double braid doesn't have you taper the core of the crossover at all, and the cover taper seems underdone.

    How's the splice today?

I came across these instructions the other day. I think they are pretty recent. http://atlanticbraids.com/splicing-instructions/ I talked to a splicer at All Gear who said they should have their own set of splicing instructions on the All Gear website soon.

    How's the splice today?

Thanks Nick! What do you mean by going overboard with the number of tucks? I did three tucks per pocket except the last one, where I did two tucks and the tail bury. If you mean the number of pockets, I think so too. The ultra sling and whoopie are both full scale. I only had 3/4" Tenex-Tec on...

    How's the splice today?

My first attempt at making an Ultra Whoopie. It's just an Ultra sling with a very long tail spliced into a whoopie.

    Pulleys, mechanical advantage, and splicing

I can't believe I didn't think of having someone else pull the pulley rope while I worked the splice. I've got a big rubber mallet and a pair of channel lock pliers with tape over the teeth to beat and squeeze the throat(of the rope). They work well for other ropes, just not the Wraptor. I think...

    Pulleys, mechanical advantage, and splicing

Hey everyone, I remember seeing some posts somewhere about using pulleys to make the final bury on tough splices easier. I've been able to splice everything except All Gear's Wraptor. I've tried three times so far and I've pulled off a window frame and porch beam. I'm curious as to where...
