Where do you put the universal mic? Any trouble picking up voices? Do you have to speak loudly, weve been known to say things that shouldnt be broadcasted.

You working under a rock, cory? We've been hammering down EAB ash here for the last two years  Really, it was found first a stones throw from me, I guess your noticing it late? Our trees are falling apart here, some falling over at the base. Ive climbing some i prob shouldn't, but like with any dead tree do your homework. They say it has a taste for some ornamentals, like the fringe tree or something. No other hardwoods i've heard.

The hardest part for me is climbing up the ladder to the grapple trailer seat, lol. We are looking for property/farm. I have a tiny lot now, but its tidy and hidden, and no one bust my balls as im respectful of the times and length of time i split. I dont mind the wood, and would push to do more with the proper layout. Our house is 75+ all winter, thermostat off. We burn 200 gallons a year in oil for hot water, so usually around $500 a year in heating costs. Not bad.

I park the grapple trailer next to the table, and put up to 15' long logs on it. Cut them to 18" lengths without bending over. Reach out your arms, again without bending over, and pivot your body and put them on the SS. Easy peasy. SS is a gem, super fast, like to fast. Dont get lax and youll keep your fingers, teeth, balls, etc. Rigging thimble, made by notch, whats becoming the walmart of the tree industry. lame

Depends on how tou process it, and the kind of wood your messing with. I keep the nice, straight less than 20" diameter stuff. Cut it on the table, no bending, no lifting, comveyor moves it. Its nice to go into winter with some cash. Somewhere around 20-30 cord is a nice 4500-7000 with no risk and little effort.

Im behind on my personal stash. I sold all the seasoned stuff a month ago. Yesterday i screw split some big ash apart, ill use that for myself. Ive been splitting what comes in lately right off the trailer. Keeping things neat as i plan to put the house on the market next spring.

I make my own stihl chains, they come with boxes. They fit perfectly in an ammo can. The boxes fit just right in rows of two or three (cant remember). I use the chain, put back the empty box, and refill the box when low. Also have extra oull start cords and bar nuts.

Im not affraid to build something, you just need to know when NOT to build something. Id prob just buy a BmG. Build the attachments if so inclined. I have an Atom, works good. You might be referencing my bmg with the winch attatchment. 1/1. Started with dave, then carl got it, then i got it, now its back near dave with jim steele.

I was also fortunate to check out the wedding barn he built, and helped a few weeks ago raise the lawn mower shed at the fair. Good guy that Dave is.

I chuckle when i read back at the start of this thread. I kept sketching myself out over the process. Im fortunate to have a friend like Dave. Now i have built timber frames sitting on pallets waiting for a new home, and timbers waiting to be worked. He created a sicko.
