Stir crazy a bit. But It'd net more income than I'm seeing right now. I could probably handle the chimneys I've got coming this time of year as well as a full time gig. Just don't know if I want to lol. Honestly it's the fall I'm worried about. Full time chimneys is good money from late summer to early winter, plowing is fantastic money for the winter. I don't think I'll do it if he needs me through to the first snow.

Nice! I've been having a slow trickle of chimneys this time of year which has been nice. But now a fellow I've known for years and years has offered me a job...............running the farm fence division of his fencing company. So I'm chewing that over a bit. Would still work with my plow stuff although he plows in the winter too and may want to make an offer on my plow business and have me work year round for him? A lot to digest really. I wonder if I'm actually employable? I wonder too what it'd be like to be in charge of a crew but not actually make the rules? Flattering in a way, and I am slow right now with the chimney stuff. But by about mid august on I'll have all the soot I could ever want to sweep so I'm not sure. I may offer up to work for him from April to august? Would put a crimp in my horseback riding, kayaking and whatnot.

I'm guessing you were in as a sub Pete? Pretty lame to call the day early if there's still work on the job. Espescially if you've been soaked all day? Weak sauce.

Then they'll have something to worry about if they get audited. Right now people who don't have their ducks in a row immigration wise have something to worry about it would seem. Does ever doing anything wrong mean you can't be critical of others?

Yah that had me wondering. Again if I'm remembering right my 61 had a metal chainbrake that looked similar.

Cory if you are doing this by switching hands. Remember every time you run a saw left handed it is not how the saw was designed. I am left handed and it's great to be ambidextrous, but as soon as you cut left hand on trigger you are nine times out of ten putting yourself in a worse position for kickback. 3/4 wrap was on everyone of my saws except for the top handles. Yes I can switch hit on a saw no problem, and sometimes it's nescessary. But 3/4 wrap gives you the most, safest, ergonomic, positioning options possible. As for cutting stumps. I never had an issue cutting as low as I liked with a 3/4 wrap and I was the one grinding the stumps. I found the only thing I didn't like about a 3/4 wrap is if somehow you got your hands on a 1/2 wrap it can be kind of dangerous going for the 3/4 section when it's not there.

Or like when I pulled my barn down with my tractor, I wore a motorcross helmet and a big baggy winter jacket. You know just in case. :D

Do any of you recall the member here Timberwolf? My Timberwolf modded 460 was a unbelievable saw. That sucker had 3/4 wrap and big aftermarket dogs on it. Used to make me feel like a superhero running it. Lol. One saw to rule them all!

That's what I thought too? I only ran a 24" bar on my 460, that was the standard ground saw. Two 200's or 201's and two 460's with 24" and one 660 with 36" made up the truck.

My view was skewed because I was spoiled by a modded 460 that was just rank. It made the 'jump' to a stock 660 seem unimpressive. It was more impressive again though once the 660 was modded. :D Stock saws are like a exercise in frustration once you've run modded ones.

I would disagree on the 66/660 too. In stock form I found them to be unimpressive.

I can't recall the stats off the top of my head but I'm Quite confident that it added up so basically if you were carrying a 44 why wouldn't you carry a 46. I had six or seven 46,460,461's. All of them proved basically bulletproof, beautiful saw modded too.
