To follow up we finally got it Thursday evening. I put it to work Friday. Lots of BS between lawyers and accountants but it finally happened. I guess we didn't just buy the equipment. We bought his business. Whatever, not my concern. The chipper worked great for what my crew does. We're still figuring out the limitations to it but all in all I was happy. My crew was all about it as well. We will see if that lasts but they wanted to go over the maintenance and even powerwashed it when we got in. My go to guy said he wants to show the boss that we deserve to have the best because we take care of things. We've gotten chippers and chip trucks that have been beaten by other crews. I'm not thinking it will do to many clearing jobs but the pair of 2100's should be able to handle those.

Still a bit light for me but you're in my ballpark now. Bow ties or no ties! The bed is a bit much for that weight class in my opinion. Depends on how high you make the sides but a bandit will fill a 30 yard chip truck. They just throw chips so nice.

I'm done with the blue ovals. Not in the same boat as you but I'm looking to upgrade to a midsize chip truck. CDL range. I can add that Isuzu is the largest manufacturer of diesel motors in the world. Well at least since last I checked.

Great vid once again. I can relate on two topics. Faster in some situations to punish one spot and him being A bit worried about his accuracy. That was tight! Nice job

He's a wanna be that gets paid to make things look more difficult or dangerous than they are. He did a vid a while ago on a removal that TS gave him the gear. He about killed himself several times. Luck only last so long

Walk away till tomorrow Peter. Get some rest and hopefully they come out easy in the morning. Sometimes you just need to let them sit overnight to give them a chance to surrender.

The elevator gives an extra ten feet of height. These trees we are working on are 85-100'. Nothing to big. I do a visual inspection of the truck every morning. Most days I'll fly a couple of full cycles from the lower controls. Time for me to do that now. Gotta get to work.

I like the ashplundth and Nelson boys. They spread tales of me far and wide. I'm the crazy SOB that works miracles:O I agree Cory. I hate power line work but they do it day in and day out. Always gets done. Just wish my power would stay on while they did it

Love my Weber grill. It was free to me which makes it even better. It's an older genesis. The only thing besides cleaning has been a regulator. My ignition switch gets a bit confused when it's damp out but no worrries yet. Day went ok. More dead ash removals. Sent the youngster up for a bit. He got agitated after a few cuts but it gave me time to touch up four neglected saws so not a total loss. He gets a bit sketched out when the elevator needs to be used. Working on fixing that.

You can also add a twist to your I2I to snug it a bit more if it's slipping. Better than changing wraps. Could be what it needs.

I'll second that Mr Girard. My HH 1 is bullet proof. The HH2 is bulletproof as well, just more compact.

August what is that green shim made out of? I understand it's to help the salami sliced piece keep the kerf open and slide. I'm just curious because it looked awful pliable as well. I want one.
