Great prices Rico. Really tempting me. I'll sleep on it and see how I feel in the morning.

The top is the most dangerous part. Nip off your sap wood or the bark tear will give you a good scare. Size of top is species dependent as well. If I remember right you're not a large fellow. Maybe 170-175. You can get away with more than someone who scales 250. Be careful Zack. Hope to see you in good shape at the expo this year.

You're making more work for yourself Zack but this will be a good one to learn on. Try to get all your butts facing the same direction. And try to do this with out one handing a chain saw. It's a good chance to check out that species reliability and what works and what doesn't.

I'm going to look at one with 400 hours on it. Just wondering if there is anything really to look at. I'm not sure of the engine size or make yet. It's for my boss so I'm not the one putting the money down but I'd like to know what to check out. I know the obvious stuff like grease points and the feed wheel motors, but what else? I'm supposed to look at the bucket truck also but I'm trying to talk him out of that. To old of a truck and boom.

I use a big Dan caribiner on my climb line to advance like that if I can't get a good tie in with a throw line. It's heavy enough for the job. Just watch out you don't nail yourself with it.

Yes it's a dump trailer. I think it's made by loadtrail. I'll check when I get home. I bought it off of Fiddler and I have no complaints about it. Had a good day. Just wish I could be done with dead ash for a week. Just a week

Gaffing out sucks and hurts but it's nothing to be afraid of. Happens more often to those that fear it. Once you get used to being on spurs, you can catch yourself before the second one slips.

14' Cory. Fully loaded is 2&1/2 cord give or take a couple of cubic feet. I'm still gonna have a couple of springs added to the truck with a lift to the front to level it out. All in good time. Springs, head ache rack fuel tank tool box , and finally off to line-x. Anybody interested in a back flip tonneau cover? I hate that thing. Tool box and open bed are more my style

Gotta push it. Also need to learn when to say no. I've gotten away with what most would call stupid shit many times but it was all calculated and I knew it would would withcthe given variables. My boss forced us to back out of a crane pick like that once. The crane op and I were both confident, but he signs the checks. Really sucked as I had to butt hitch the lead and then set chokers. The real kicker is we were with in the chart anyhow. Good work Paul.

The guy that forgets to charge his sena only does it once. Mine has died on long hours and I'll rob the battery from someone and boy do they hate it.
