The pin I'm talking about goes from the pedal to the clutch cable. Might not really be a cable but I'm not sure. It's where that little bushing goes as well.

The bad thing is I think about these things sparatically. Wish I would remember all at once so not to waste any time.

Also if that little plastic bushing has been gone for a while the pin could be wore. Mine was shot so I removed the clutch pedal, ground the weld, punched it out, and welded a new pin in. I think it's 7/16" but I could be wrong.

I love mine. Still love my original but the hh2 is a bit more compact. The fact that it's so simple is what I love.

CV do you have a link to the tending tether by any chance? TS carried it for a week I think and I missed my chance.

Justin your freezer should be fine if you don't open it for 24 hours. Also toss a bunch of blankets on top if you think the outage will last a while. Not that I'm trying to tell you not to get a bigger generator, just throwing out thoughts for the time being.

Did one small removal this morning and into the back yard for a pair of silver maple reductions. Fairly large trees but in decent shape for silvers. I was talking with the property owner a bit at lunch and he said he only lives there in the summer. Spends about nine months in the keys. Next thing I know he says that Dot Palm is the tree service he uses down there. World got a bit smaller to me at that moment. Nothing but praises about them.

Not under tension Sean. I think Grendel posted a video with an old wire core that he just tapped with the saw and it went just like a standard lanyard. Share this video https://youtu.be/6iERnPNlWe8

You want to stay out of it is all I can add. Learning to cut for the situation is the biggest thing but isolating your lanyard and a separate tie in point should be used as well for those times you guess wrong. And I'm guessing one doesn't need to be quick with a knife when the 200T is already in hand and running. It was for me. Cut the lanyard and take the not so delightful swing. Sucks but your intestines don't come out your asshole.

Blacksmith I know your pain. I'm sure Jim does as well. Only way to the clutch is splitting them in half. Did that a few times and I actually enjoyed it even though it sucks

Thanks. I'll talk to the mechanic and see if he will give it a try. 7 gallons of gas should be after a hard day I suppose. I can't really compare. My 250 Xp gets fuel every 4-6 days. At work we have chippers that run 40 gallons a day. Obviously much bigger size. We have a small gasser but I've only ran it once and I have no idea what we used for gas. I can ask if I can stand to talk to the guy who uses it. He's a hyper OCD type of person. A great guy to be around for ten minutes till you realize he's insane.

If you don't mind checking Brian, how for do the hooks stick out on the sides and what size Dee's on the tail gates? Curious because those seem almost idiot proof and allow for a bit of wear and tear adjustability.

I'm trying to plan a week there in late spring. I'm hoping for Elkmont campground. Abrahm's Falls is my favorite hike.

I did forward that to most of the guys I work with. Even though it's the weekend, most have responded with "holy shit! Now we know why you yell about that kinda stuff" And that's the way my crew see's it. Climber #1,property #2, and ease on ground crew#3. I make their job easy when I can and they take the abuse when I need them to.

Did you get a parts/owners manual for the chipper? My 250xp didn't come with one and our local dealer said he could sell me one or send a PDF file for free. I printed out two. One for in the office and one for in the shop. It should have the part numbers that can be cross referenced easily. That's a nice set up you got. On your ford clutch issue, check the linkage on the clutch pedal itself. I'm not sure for your year but my 350 and 550 have a plastic spacer in there. When it breaks it adds enough play to make shifting into first and reverse act up. I think it's an $11 part from the dealer. Could be wrong though.

Texted the dealers mechanic. He said something is wrong. They shouldn't just break even if abused.

Rumor on the buzz is this fellow lived. Pete did not. Both show what can happen. One reason I have no problem ripping in to a ropeman when he doesn't let it run. Spar failure is one of my top fears. Causes me to climb higher, rig smaller, and look for other options. I don't like seeing these posts but they need to be read.

I was pretty sure they were original Fiddler. And you did make sure I knew of the couple of slices. I've added a few since then. Page what you're having happen is not normal. Toro should stand behind their product. I will try to remember to talk to our local dealer's mechanic tomorrow and ask about this problem. Memo is being written in a minute
