It can't hurt to promote a holistic approach but I sense its an uphill battle convincing a lot of the clients. Good luck though.

haha Jay whos at fault with this one? The buyer or the supplier? Reminds of some clients that ordered a massive water tank and asked if we could lift it into their yard whilst doing the tree work, I immediately offered to book a crane for them. Did you rig a pulley on a higher balcony or how did you lift her in?

I love a good salad with some protein, nice light summer meals. Steve I have an almost identical bag of sauce sitting around but its expired so I might try to to pick up another one. I'd say the Maesri trumps the Ayam but making one from scratch must be the real deal- I've never done curry from scratch.

I was looking into importing kayaks from china a while ago, the manufacturers wanted me to send them a Hobie so they could rip off the design. I didn't go through with it but Im sure its just a matter of time

made a red curry with chicken, eggplant, broccoli. sauce is from a can, Maesri brand. My friend had a thai missus and considers himself quite the curry jedi. He says maesri is the best curry from a can/jar. I'd have to agree it tasted pretty good.

The old GRCS bar makes a pretty good stick if need be, mine lays beside a machete behind the drivers seat Guns are pretty uncommon here compared to the states, must be nice to know you could control almost any situation should it arise. In all honesty though, its also pretty nice to know that you are unlikely to be shot at...

I was pulled over by an American cop in Sydney once, a really muscled up beefcake. Being a watcher of the show "Cops" it felt a bit surreal at the time.

I dont mind using softer (cheaper) chain, theres usually a stump to be cut most days so its gonna need a sharpening regardless. Different story if there's just clean wood to be cut all day.

Nah, the plugs don't match. Possible I could use him and his truck just to spray into if its a bigger job and theres no mulch drop nearby... I've been trying to convince him to take on his own tree jobs but hes a bit docile in that respect, just wants to chip- which is fine but you need a bigger rig to get consistent work Nice to meet you Skwerl, seems you have quite the rep around here

Work has been a bit hectic, workers absent, under priced jobs, long days etc. Luckily it's not usually like this so all good. For the last 3 or so years I've been working closely with a chipping contractor, Matt. Hes a really nice guy and its been great to have him around. As my business has grown I'd moved towards buying my own rig and promised to keep him updated as events unfolded- I'd found a chipper to buy and was going to store it until I got my cdl and a truck. Yesterday Matts chipper was having what appeared to be major issues, we thought it was the clutch. Assuming he would be off for at least a week I fast tracked buying my chipper and arranged to hire a truck off the seller. I did what I had to do but broke my word doing it.. thats business.
