Good luck with the surgery Jay, I hope it goes well for you. Had my eyes tested last year and everything was ok, still don't need glasses.

Ex cop/handyman from the local pub under priced me on a job a couple of years ago. He hired a polesaw to do it and ended up dropping it in the pool.:laughing6: Think he got away with it though.

They're advertising Come to California on tv tonight. Think I'll stay here, it's just heatwaves and bushfires. About a hundred fires burning out of control yesterday, fair few controlled today. Got to scroll down a bit in this. https://au.news.yahoo.com/nsw/a/34397062/nsw-bushfires-13-year-old-arrested-over-devastating-car-yard-blaze/#page1 No help from this ex firefighter though, he lit one. https://au.news.yahoo.com/a/34405436/man-accused-of-lighting-fires-allegedly-wanted-to-impress-young-son/#page1

I stay logged in just about everywhere except my bank and paypal. Strong pass words and all very different is really important with those sort of things and email. Forums, not so much. Bank and government sites log you out anyway after a few minutes.

It is a bit warm. I did some spiky palms this morning, finished at 12.30 and it was 106F in the shade, and that's really 11.30. Mid 40's by the time I left the dump. Not going to be a fun week.

I've never run a 193 but there's a few here that do and seem to like them. I bought a 190T for a back up once, quick smart sold that and bought another 200. The 193 is a big improvement on them I think. If you want to make money buy good stuff in the first place and you won't go wrong, that's always worked for me.

I'd forget the 200T for $2000 for a start, and probably the second hand 201T unless you can have a demo of it. Better off buying a new 201T, I think RRP is around $1500 now but you should be able to get one a bit cheaper. What about a 150T for now, not much more than the 193T and it'd handle what you seem to be doing. A lot of us got by with saws that wouldn't compare to one of those and a lot here love them.

Sad about Mary Tyler Moore as well. I remember her from Richard Diamond one of our first tv series. You never saw her face, just her legs and heard her voice. Starred David Janssen, he was in some good stuff. Good show. Might watch it now, there's nothing much on tv tonight. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/UyuTBASP_8g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It's a shame how Jimmy Snuka ended up. Mario Milano died on Christmas Eve at 81, I only just heard about it. He was Australia's favourite wrestler for a long time, even though he was really Italian. The ladies loved him (including my grandmother) and no one could believe it when he went to the dark side, but he came back after a few months and went on for years as a good guy. Good story about him here. http://www.smh.com.au/comment/obituaries/obituary-wrestler-mario-milano-became-migrants-hero-20161223-gthiko.html

Sean had a thread about them. http://masterblasterhome.com/showthread.php?18367-super-small-chipper-homeowner-sized-chipper-for-small-jobs&highlight=bonel Stephen has one so do I. (Post 123 in that thread) His is 18hp I think and mine is 13hp Honda. Hadn't used it in years but I'm sure glad I didn't sell it, been using it quite a bit lately as my other chipper is in Sydney. It's made me quite a few dollars over the years, bought it March '95 and it still goes well and I've put some stuff through it. Just need to keep the knives sharp.

Similar to what I use but mine doesn't come apart without tension but still unties easily. Been using it for years, doubled up or tripled you can pull just about anything. I carted cardboard for a while years ago, talk about slippery. Pre ratchet straps and loads had to be really tight, always triple. To stop this one coming apart if you don't want it to just put a sort of half hitch with that big loop, it won't tighten up but it'll stop it coming undone. Good video Muggs.

I doubt the jinx could fix anything, but he was super smart. He was like having a personal Google twenty years before there was one. He originally was a printer then worked transferring things to computer files. He'd read everything and remembered it all, you could ask him anything and he could tell you. A lot of people didn't like him but we got along pretty good. He'd never been outside much and was amazed at what we did, not counting break downs. Well I guess he enjoyed them too, because everyone down the pub knew about them before I got there, and everything else as well usually.

He was lucky. Next time the jinx worked with me we're flying along and I notice a couple of farmers starring at us. Nothing unusual because I always was overloaded, come to a T intersection and stop, a big cloud of smoke comes past. He looks out and says we're on fire. Pull over and back wheel smoking, grab some water from a little dam and put it out. Only a few minutes to the dump so I'll sort it out then. I tell him to watch it. About a mile later he yell's "the wheels coming off". The rope rail stopped it. Had to leave it there that time and get a bearing. Got it sorted the next day though. I had two more Toyota Stouts after that and never had a problem with them. With that one the previous owner changed the motor, gear box and diff. Mick. I was legal, truck wasn't. Pretty crook at the time with a misdiagnosed kidney stone and flat broke. That makes that story a lot longer, ambulance guys thought they got called for me.:laughing6: I said no, I look like this most of the time, it's that bloke in the car. Had to look up kudzu, no wonder you couldn't find it. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/05/100517172302.htm

That looks a bit like me about 1979 but a Toyota Stout a bit overloaded. Long story but short version. Big day, Saturday afternoon, had the jinx with me, he was a redundant printer I used to give him some casual work. He loved it. Axel broke on a bend, looked just like that except I was a foot or so more of the bitumen. Got a lift to a wrecker and got an axle, just about finished and a drunk driver clipped the corner of the truck. He stopped a bit down the road and passed out, woman across the road panicked but I said he's drunk just leave it but she called an ambulance. They turned up, he woke up, they called the cops. I'm in a panic, got to get out of here. (Leave out reason) Axle just about done, cops turn up. He doesn't like it, short scuffle and they get him in the wagon. Cop talks to me pretty quick because the other one was who he hit and want's to get him back to the station. Axle fixed, and I got home ok. Don't think the other guy did, he was yelling he was going to kill me as they took him away.

I get calls that show a local number but they are from India, there's a way to do it so don't take much notice of what number calls you. As for the malware thing, that Aussie bike forum I belong to had that alert last week. Only lasted one day and it was gone, it's vBulletin same as here.
