Really cool Reg. Love the sway off the leaner. Guessing the wind was tickling you on the first top or just stubborn fibre. Betting on breezy.

The above post from Kevin happened three weeks ago. All three items that he mentioned are still on back order. I say three because there are actually two different quickies for sale, both of which are out of stock. Tim

Man, that would test my nerves. Most the time here, in our small town, they will let me slide on stuff like that. I get told, get to NAPA or the shop and fix it.

Bid is paying for it. Just this whole day has got me down. And now I have to go buy a right angle drill I was not planning on. The one I rarely rent got stolen. Merry Christmas to me I guess.

Wood sides are cheap to build, especially if you have a mill ;) Makes it a little harder for.pilfering. quick removal for in case. I've strapped the sides on top of hauling mill wood or logs as needed. My white one could be made into a dump pretty easy. The red truck, not so much. But not impossible. That was originally the plan. And build a box. But then I found a couple trailer deals I could not refuse. And they really rock for hauling. And since we had 200,000,000 dead trees to deal with, hauling was in our future. Clean up is tantamount in this business and where you can lose your arse if you are not efficient about it.

So this week , it turns out, I need a 13/16ths by 60" ship auger bit for a cabling job. Tree Stuff was out of stock. Most everyone I looked up was or quite a wait. Low and behold, Sherrill has one in stock. Hmmm I think. I wonder how they will do. Pull the trigger. 2 days, no e mail confirmation of shipping or tracking number. SO I call this morning. They say they have shipped. Told them I never got an e mail or tracking number. Rep apologised, never offered a tracking number, and I never got a follow up e mail.... Hope the damn thing shows up tomorrow.

  1. Yeah, thanks....we can all learn something if we are open to it. Brian has issues, I reckon...I'll just let him stew and work out his own way to be involved.

I enjoy your posts...glad to have you at the House.
