Adding to what Gary said, possibly just trying to log into the account will show a box with a question along the lines of "Forgot your password?". Clicking on that link would get you into the process for recovering or changing a password. The other possibility is trying to remember if you'd written it down somewhere, so long ago. Tim

pantheraba replied to a thread Husqvarna 390xp in Chainsaws!
I was working during Katrina on this barn, taking this tree out/off of the structure. My Stihl 290 had gotten dull and they brought me a Husky 395 that an old timer had loaned us for the Hurricane work. As soon as I cranked it and throttled up I knew something very different was going on. The word "Beast" popped into my head. When I started cutting with it that confirmed it really was a Beast. I was amazed at the power (and sharpness) of the saw. Only time I ran that saw but I still remember it 12 years later. I haven't run anything comparable since then.

There should be a process whereby you can get issued a temporary pswd by gmail...probably have to answer a security question (that you had to set up initially to open the acct.?) When I have had to change a pswd that was the drill.

Got this beast ready to line out tomorrow. Had to fell a pondo that was next to it. It fit in the hole since it was skinny and brittle. This Sugar has a serious spread to it. 48" Dbh. Try and get some vid.

I think people might offer me money just to shut my yap for a few minutes. It's kinda like the old protection rackets the mob engaged in. Pay me money to prevent a migraine headache, sort of thing.

I like the looks of that knife...will probably get one. Reminds me of a Benchmade I used to have that got lost.

Wow, Gary, great post! I had never heard of either of the above mentioned items. I did not take time to read through the whole explanation of the Valsalva Maneuver just yet, as it is highly detailed and it is getting late. I need to read through it when I'm fully alert to get the max benefit from it. I thought they said that power lifters use the technique, though. My bet is that the second thing you proposed, respiratory alkalosis, is the correct guess as to what happened to him, as trying to sing hard is exactly the activity he was engaged in. Unbelievable that someone on such a relatively small forum would know the answer to this. Thanks again. Tim

No doubt. And to be honest, it takes turn with my regular SRT kit. But when we need it...

Deva, I should get a picture of the bollard on my Wraptor. I believe it is at least an 09 demo model. I believe I got to fly it at the WCGTG. Have to belay the rope now like adding weight to an SRT line. It will run up 9/16-5/8ths fine. It's on it's third clutch spring set and second set of clutches. 2nd fuel tank and clutch housing from a 60 foot fall. 2nd on off switch. 3rd set of fuel lines, filters and primer. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Nice score buddy.

@TreeMuggs; I hope you had your carpel tunnel syndrome wrist protectors on when you typed all that up! Just kidding! That was a really well written post. I'm going to have to go back now and look at the kind of grief Rico was given; maybe I missed those threads. I hope that stuff isn't the reason he's not still posting here. It seemed like he was really getting on well with the true veterans on this forum. Brian, I'm really, really sorry to hear that you feel inhibited from posting about your work on this or any other forum as a result of this stuff. I hope it was never I who got on you like this. Being able to read what the most highly skilled veterans do for a living, and how they do it, is the big appeal of the forums. I surely hope this kind of thing did not happen to you while posting in the Elders forum. Perhaps that part of this forum would be a "safe" place, relatively, to post whatever you feel like posting. If you feel as though I ever get out of line in this regard, please feel free to tell me to shut my yap. Apologies if I ever got out of line with you in the past. Thanks for your thoughts, TreeMuggs and Brian. Tim

My first thought was maybe related to the Valsalva Maneuver...it makes you light headed after hard exertion (like bench pressing and holding your breath...a no-no). It does happen to singers...also respiratory alkalosis...if you want to read further https://music.stackexchange.com/questions/32015/physical-problems-during-singing/32037

  1. Yeah, thanks....we can all learn something if we are open to it. Brian has issues, I reckon...I'll just let him stew and work out his own way to be involved.

I enjoy your posts...glad to have you at the House.

Your post on Murphy's video's was spot on. If nothing else it makes for forum education and I for one will never shut the door on learning! Like to add you to my friends list hear also. Joel/rskybiz
