by undoing the mandate, shots going to get even more expensive. People think they are healthy until they are not and then the rest of us have to pay for them. never heard of anyone ever staying healthy. maybe for a few years you can get lucky. its funny my neighbor sells life insurance so finally I was like fuck it ill get some so you stop asking me about it everyday. did the whole application wrote a check and then I get a letter saying they will give me life insurance but won't cover accidental death due to my listed occupation. lol. I definitely am not worried about non accidental death. at least my neighbor will stfu about it from now on.

your in Alabama correct? it is right to work I imagine. I bring up line clearance as it is the only union I personally know people in. previous to Michigan becoming rtw, line clearance guys were paid very well and had a great training and apprenticeship program. ince then it has been undercut by hack crews. There has been a real loss of morale and pride in what they are doing. there used to be a local 17 climbing comp for example. not so much anymore. they still are holding it together but it has been a hit.

So your opinion is that line clearance should be a dangerous low pay job done by the lowest common denominator? I guess thats valid we should all just be money movers..

if the president can allegedly rape his wife as well as pay off a porn star to not tell her story I see no problem with a governor with maybe not as much financial means allegedly taping a married women to exercise equipment. who needs standards anymore.

there are a lot of Mormons from all over the world. their missions really do harvest some souls. they certainly put in the work.. you'll find salt lake city to be amazingly diverse. but you do have to be an active part of the church to reap the communist benefits of Mormonism I'm sure.

Utah is about as communist a place as your going to get in the states. the church takes care of everyone. you don't see homeless much and the streets are shiny clean. the schools are well maintained and if you buy in you always have a large community at your back.

he has millions upon millions of dollars. I doubt he makes his own food. he is leading the league right now in points in the final five minutes and he credits his stamina to his diet. I was a vegetarian from age 6 to 13. still don't eat a lot of meat. I fry my tofu in bacon grease though.

the knee pain would be a big issue but if he's walking q2 miles behind a mower tree life would be easier on the knees. the worst thing for my acl tear was not climbing but getting in and out of the truck and feeding the chipper. and potholes in the lawn while dragging brush.

clearly. I thought you were a logger anyway. the guy isn't asking you to hire him he is asking if there is any reason he shouldn't climb based on his weight. I personally see no reason why not based off your weight alone. only he can feel the pain in his knee. so that comes down to him. but weight alone is no reason to not climb a tree.

I cant understand why the climbing school would not let you climb vecause of your weight. that bugs me. what the hell? there are people with no legs at all climbing trees. there are people with one arm climbing. The tree doesn't care about an extra 100 lbs. where are you located?

no better way to lose weight than climbing trees. watch your diet, do physical therapy strengthening for your knee and climb trees. sweat. I have never been overweight and have to eat like crazy to not lose weight but I think that's because I climb trees all day. my advice might not be worth taking. I have worked with a few overweight groundies that were lean by the end of the summer.

    Hi Kevin, it's Mike Meredith.

Sorry - I just discovered this message today. I go by Tuebor here and over on TreeBuzz also.

I did meet you briefly at the Bartlett open house back in March. Since then I friended you on Facebook and joined the Rope Runner group. I connected with Johnny Pro when he was in town and videoed his TRT explanation. I met Jeremy and Mike a day or two later while we were climbing in a park. (Mike tried my skateboard and decided to get one for himself - but don't blame me if he cracks his skull and misses work, LOL.)

I live in Grosse Pointe Woods and took up recreation climbing last fall after meeting Bo Burke up north, in October. Love it because I'm a kid at heart. Let me know next time you have a job on the east side - I'd like to watch. I've been out of work for a while, recovering from a bout of cancer, but when I get back later this summer I'll have some tree work for you guys.

    Mike
