This week I received both the rope runner and the SAKA (Richard Mumford). Looking forward to using them as soon as the weather improves a bit. Just in passing, dealing with Richard (Yoyoman) has been a pleasure.

PCTree, Thanks for saying that. I've been lucky to be able to continue to do this. What has really helped are these new devices that folks here have developed to make climbing a lot easier than it was even 5 years ago, and the tips and ideas that people on this site have been sharing. Husabud, Thank you for the address. I will send a message to Richard and see if I can purchase the Saka.

I am not a member of the Treebuzz. If anyone has an address for yoyoman, I would appreciate having it. I would like to purchase his device.

This looks to be very helpful. Where did you place the order?

Just in passing, has anyone here placed an order with Treestuff for one of these?

Thank you. I will do as you suggest. It looks like the drum will accomplish the same improvement as the barrel.

Regarding the Unicender barrel attachment, I would be happy to incorporate it into my system. However, it appears that they are "out of stock" at Thompson Tree Tools and have been for the last year or so. If anyone knows where they may be purchased, I would love to know as well.

So....I just received the 5/8" steel core high-visibility orange lanyard from Merle Nelson. It is brand-new in the original bag. I simply could not be happier. Mr Nelson's generosity has allowed me to make a donation and get something that I will be able to use. I would say that the auction was a great success. Thanks all. Bill
