Re the filming of other non tree parts, IMO, you have to figure a way to be on camera without it being obvious you know you are on camera. I guess it is known as acting, or not knowing one is being filmed. Not easy to do of course. But so much better to watch. Or maybe it will happen after so much filming-time that one becomes insensate to the camera's presence.

MB, I think that pollution/dilution quote is a lot about what FFZ is on about, but I would lean heavier to make some sacrifices and don't pollute in the first place. An oz of prevention better than a pound of cure....

Btw, great picture Kevin. Interesting that you found veggies don't make money. I love the comment about tear up the lawns and grow food though, love it. It's one of those solutions that is sitting under one's nose.

Cmon man, you suggested, imo, that contaminated soil was spread on farmer's fields which grow food. That link says zero about chit soil being dumped on fields that grow food. But I learned a bit from it about how chit soil is dealt with, I thought it was buried and sealed, like entombed, so I appreciate your link.

No way in heck I believe that. Interesting if true but I'm doubt you are correct. You are comparing apples to oranges- the "tepees" were set up to try to prevent a bad proposal from happening in the future, the EPA thing was a spontaneous event. Interesting way to put it, I never thought of it in those words. Heck no, the Parks are already fully utilized in providing restorative qualities to people. You seem obsessed with the notion that country folks are viewed as dumb. Is that a real thing? I don't think of country folks that way

You raise good points. Re oil spills, it reminds me of the Deepwater Horizon blowout- you have an underwater camera filming a ridiculous amount of oil shooting out of the destroyed well on the ocean floor for days on end, it looks rather apocalyptic. But then you think that in the course of earth history certainly there must have been many spontaneous eruptions of oil from the ocean floor and yet the oceans don't show obvious signs of such damage. Having said that, oiled salt water in the vast ocean arguably is less of a problem than fresh water in an aquifer getting contaminated by a spill. You mention cleaning up spills on dry land, I gotta believe cleaning up a spill into drinking water is far more harmful and difficult to remedy. And from what I've read, tar sands oil is arguably better left untouched because it is so energy intensive to mine and process and its environmental impact is so large. Yeah, duh, we need energy to run machines but we also need wisdom re which energy sources to use and how much money and effort to put into developing sources which have less damaging effects on the environment.

Certainly a bright guy like yourself can come up with a more meaningful perspective than that. Although most anything related to Donald may be nearly undiscussable because he seems to engender either hatred or praise with little in between. Seems like 2 of the biggest issues are the Ogala aquifer being jeopardized and the dirtiness of the tar sands product
