I think it would be fine, they are tough. If you really are interested you could call the company, see what they say. They have a good rep for making good quality boards, they'd give ya the straight dope.

+10. I haven't had the pleasure of being up in giant pnw firs but just love seeing the life in big ol tree tops- insects, flying squirrels, and tree frogs really astonish me, there they are with insanely effective camouflage, but they seem like they don't belong up there, why aren't they swimming around in a pond with typical frogs. Amazing adaptability.

Omg, that was a good one! That is impressive. I've tried to learn spanish late in life to help otj but it just doesn't sink in, doh. I was wondering if simple aging and brain changes had a lot to do with it. As in, it would sink in much easier when younger. But maybe it is more due to simple addling ;)

Thanks for posting, Reggie! Good old fashioned helmet cam footage, there's a lot to be said for it. Nice! Cool looking axe/hatchet you have. Do you use the cutting edge much aloft? Probably so otherwise you'd bring a mallet/hammer. Just wondering. Lawdy, that was a huge heavy top:\: The chest placement of your walkie talkie, does it work out well there or does it get in the way climbing? Is it held in place there with a basic store-bought purpose built harness or is it held by some homemade approach? Thanks, Reg!

Interesting that every species is at all time highs in your area, that is mighty good news. Re your last line, I would say humans who show no respect for life by committing animal cruelty repeatedly and posting vids and photos of it and bragging about it, definitely have earned the right to have their lives greatly devalued. Virtually nobody likes animal cruelty and personally it drives me nuts. And apparently it is a fact that people who are cruel to animals typically over time move on to abuse of humans/domestic violence. From my armchair, those guys are a scourge to life, we need more sharks and fewer humans like those arrestees. Briefly re sharks, my understanding is that the worldwide steep decline in shark numbers due to finning, by-catch, and persecution is causing havoc with the ocean food chain cuz fewer sharks means more abundance of their prey which means less abundance of their prey which means trouble for the base of the food chain, which means trouble for the good ol human race. I'm told sharks have been around for 500 million years (longer than trees) and have survived the multiple mass extinctions, which shows their integral place in the ecosystem/food chain. Jeopardizing their existence does the same to ours. The old unintended consequences routine.

Ray, I'm sure you heard about these FL guys who laughed about dragging a live shark at high speed behind their boat. Indeed they are slob fishermen, seem to love shooting at various life forms and bragging about it. http://www.wtsp.com/news/crime/man-who-posted-shark-dragging-video-happy-after-arrests/499285872
