Sometimes big equipment gets stolen in plain sight too, nobody around figures that anyone that could be observed would do such a thing. Load it up and move out...wave hi to anyone that might be watching.

That's it Chris, with the flakes and mayo. There used to be a man and his son that had a little concession in front of a market on my way home from work. I'd often stop in and get a pack to take home. I think they moved on to a better pickings place. Not hard to find though, very popular. Octopus is good in sea food type stews as well. Interesting creatures, I wouldn't be so keen on killing them. Kind of pains me to see them on a hook. A typical takoyaki stand that you would find at a festival. Nice little treat to walk around and munch on.

Not bad with protection, but more just the thought of making so much noise. It used to irritate one crane op a lot. He didn't say much, but i could tell.

You guys running modded saws, do you ever grow weary of the noise? It used to be when starting mine up there was the anticipation of a mean bugger to slice and dice, now a little voice in my head says, "Here comes the noise". :(

It is said that they need to legalize drugs. When drugs are cheaper crime rates go down, as shown by past history when the price of cocaine dropped and so did the amount of all crimes, including theft. When the cocaine use boom was in full gear back in the 80s and 90s and the drug was expensive, crime rates were at an all time high, especially in impoverished cities. Isn't there more illegal opioid use now than ever in the US? Thefts of drugs by employees in hospitals is a growing problem. Substance abuse costs the country nearly 500 billion dollars annually, adding in theft. That being said, when drugs are readily available without the crime factor, is that going to have even more people using them? It's estimated that 10 to 20 percent of vehicle accidents have drug use being a factor. What can be done?

When I worked at a gas station, a guy on a bike waiting at the light at the intersection right in front got run over from behind. The car must have slowed down because it didn't throw him ahead, just rolled right on top of him and his bike somehow. Judging by in how loud a voice he was complaining about it, I like to think that he came out of it not so bad.

Octopus is usually available at outdoor event food concessions. They cut it up into little pieces and cook it inside a ball covered with egg and dough. It's quite good. "Takoyaki"...Tako is Octopus. Put some mayo on it and a fine snack. The guys with the prongs are wizards at manipulating the balls.

I guess we were lucky, never had the terrible twos, but having only one child reduces the odds I guess. I see kids throwing tantrums and think, now how would I handle that. Love conquers all i guess, including a good smack in the rear at just the right time.

It's true, I don't see many fat Asians in these parts. Every now and then is about it. I'm not really fat, but to fit in I still suck in my stomach when standing up at social gatherings. I see farmers at the public bath and they look have emaciated, apparently healthy though.

Chris that must be some big Squid that you have over there. I love fried Squid, raw too when it's fresh. I think it's high in cholesterol though.

What happened to the guys that stole Sonny Barger's bike you'd think would dissuade theft. Besides beaten beaten to all hell I think they had their fingers broken. They weren't in the HA though.
