Much better. Runs good with carb and cuts good with 24" sharpened. He will think a different saw compared to how it came in. :|:

Not done with saw yet. Carb needs rebuilt IMO. Buttttttt Tell you something I found on the walkerized muffler mods. They take 2 short studs and put a bolt in with nuts and braze them shut. Then just braze the support. While testing the saw and finished I shook saw side to side etc and could here a banging going on. I text guy and told him I wanted to pull muffler and see whats going on in the saw. Well one of the nuts was banging around in the muffler and the stud piece no where to be found. Hoping it went forward and out of muffler. Anyhow I said you want me to leave that other one or use a punch and get it out of there too. He agreed with my thinking and get it out of there. Still bugs me not knowing where that thread short stud ended up though.

I ask the past owner about the bar having no paint and the oiler working or not at times. He said the oiler works great and that he removes the paint from his bars once they start showing paint wear. Said he does this on all his bars. Past owner said he had already done the muffler mod on the stihl 150 T. I made a few cuts with the 12" bar in 5"-6" ash and the 1/4" did what I was expecting it to NOT do. So that is fine now with me. Smooth and pretty dang quick.

Bobby Walker saw from Vancouver. I was told this is the new way of running the triple outlets out there with the screens in all of them. No more pipes on sides like I remember.

I know what they cost new. But taking one in trade and wonder if I allowed to much on trade in. Any of you guys bought used ones? Said it has had the crack in the brake handle forever and never grew or had any problems with it. Owner said he only used for pruning and the 200T does the rest. I really wanted a 2511T but a trade in is a trade in and we both get what we want with no money exchanging hands. If the little 1/4" chain just isnt for me. I probably will sell it for what I have invested in it.

The 576. = Havent ran one of these since they came out new. Was that like 10 years ago? But anyhow running 24" today full comp buried in the ash. I was impressed for 74cc. Also liked how quite it was in the cuts. Only thing wrong was carb was loose and carb L and I out of tune. Got those freaking chains done and now waiting parts on the 93 394 He said out of 10 or so saws this one is his fav. Out of 395's 394's 3120 2100's 576 372xt

Had to laugh yesterday at some of the stories this logger was telling me about this local dealer. Turns out the owners 30something son runs the shop (EXPLAINS IT IMO). Same one I had issues with 10 years ago and never went back as he was that freaking stupid. Anyhow I get a call. Can you spin my new 60" chain for me. Sure I can come on over. He brings 404 presets etc. The chain is 10-11 drive links to long. What I dont get the bar he bought from same dealer has 172DL right on it. All good now. Then to  he leaves 60" 44" 36" 28" chains for me to sharpen. I said you know chains are my least fav thing to do right. He smiles and says thats why your doing them.

To easy  SMH I found 1 carb bolt really loose. 1 not real tight. Intake clamp around boot loose. Carb out of adjustment on L and I IMHO. Checked cylinder bolts and snugged as they moved hair not much. Idles all day now. Noticed yesterday when I pointed straight up it shut off. Also had rolled side to side and pointed down. Today did same thing after about 20mins of idling and stayed running even pointed up. Now to wait on a 394 he said is next. He told me the local dealer gets $80 to look at the saw and then $80 a hr. So I ask him, so your telling me I aint charging you enough. ;) He said yes.

Guy with 3120 picked up and dropped off a woods ported 2013 372XP x-torq. He said he has tried tuning it and cant get it to idle. Took to a dealer and they couldnt fix it either even after saying they did. So now I have my shot at it. Whats cool is he said a non internet saw shop guy ported for $120. Now that is the kind of prices I was used to seeing through 2010. Will get pics later. Wont idle shuts of when it sets it down. I have 3 ideas in the back of my mind to look at. I always start K.I.S.S. Oh got a $15 tip on top of billed paid. 8)

He also has 44" and 60". But he likes his 20" and 24" felling with 395's 394's 3120 too. 385 390 dont have enough grunt for him with even a 20" 24". How I got to buy the 385 off of him. Also has 1 or 2 2100.

Just to share. Sort of pisses me off one of the local dealers treated him like this. aka took advantage of IMHO. Took his 3120 to dealer. Told him pulling 130psi so put a new topend on it. Bet was just needing reringed. Coil wire had been chaffed cut and told him needed new coil. So they put a coil in it. Dont these the plug wire screws out to replace. New carb installed too instead of rebuild. Then to beat all they put the wrong coil and he couldnt pull it over to get started. He sent it to Rich Dougan to fix it. Said ran 3 months and back to original issue. I got saw today and fixed in little over hour. SMH

What I took away from the testing. 064 seemed to have the best torque dawged in. 3mm more stroke I would say does that. 385 seemed to carry most rpm in the cut, except for when dawged in. 505 just little behind but enough for me and what I do. So 385 will still be sold when the local comes up with the $.
