I've never heard of him but have seen a lot of those tricks watching hours of old jazz drummers (Buddy Rich etc.) Don't get me wrong though, he's frigging awesome. To be so good at an instrument that you don't even need to be in a successful band to propel you to fame is a feat in itself. Check out Drummerworld.com. Tons of videos of all the top guys of every genre over the decades plus a forum which is a heck of a resource for everything from gear to technique.

My old man said he could see the separate leaves on trees again after his surgery. That would suck looking around with no detail.

Back in high school you were lucky to score some B.C. skunk but mostly just sifted through the seeds and stems of mediocre weed. These days all these fancy names are fine but the main question still remains, "will it get me high?" Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk

You can order from similar sites in Canada and Canada post brings it right to your mailbox no questions asked. Not sure what'll change when it's legalized other than price maybe. Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk

There's very little I say that isn't tongue in cheek, sarcastic or just plain cynical. You can imagine how much my wife appreciates it. One of our guys had to provide proof of prescription for T3's when (opiates) came up positive. Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk

My place of employment piss tests annually. A drunk needs to take one night off, a cokehead needs three days off and a cannabis smoker needs at least 7 days if not a month to pass the test naturally. Evil, evil reefer. Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk

12" and 14". My first kit had a 12" mounted on the kick and a stand with a 14" and a 16". The floor tom was a 16" as well which made it tricky to tune. I was 13 and it sounded like crap but I played the piss out of them.

My modest set up. I guess it's a bit bigger than 8x8 but I have to sit at a right angle to fit my amp. There's usually a recumbent bike where the cajon is.

It's a 5 piece but I left one tom off to conserve room. I've mounted a splash off the crash stand above the remaining tom and mounted the ride off one of the legs of the floor tom. Those cymbal stands take up alot of real estate. I'll post a picture this evening. I have an acoustic kit, an electric kit and a computer desk jammed into an 8 by 8 area. I'd never seen a climber on spurs in a "rest" position with one foot above his waist but the camera man stated Mike was a prolific rock climber as well which explained the unorthodox technique. Cool to see one climbing skill overlapping into another. I may show the guys the Dragon bowline one day when I'm feeling cheesy enough. Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk

That guy that killed his wife didn't have enough thc in his blood for an impaired driving charge and was a known asshole to his wife who was preparing to leave him, but they're still trying to sue the company that produced the edible because that's what made him do it. Money fixes everything. Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk

I'll admit I'm using my own experience with a meniscus tear when giving advice. If my knee pain was ever 4 times worse than it was pre surgery I would need one of those painkiller addictions where you flush you life down the toilet. Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk

Having had a meniscus surgery 4 months ago myself, I feel for you. I'm speculating that you've accepted that your knee is F***** but it shouldn't be. Maybe another surgery is in order but this time lose the weight and rehab the knee properly. As to your question, should you be climbing. Until you get your knee fixed I would have to say no. Of course this is only my opinion but I can't see anything productive coming out of it. Up a tree with a chainsaw, limited experience and a bad knee doesn't sound like a great start. This line of work is hard enough for guys and gals that are physically sound. Didn't intend to echo you Stig. You posted while I typed.
