Sweet find! Still in the original box too. Wonder why someone would buy one and not use it?

Hate what CA has become. Anyway. It is not just the immigrants. A lot of it is policy for aid. We still have a rash of folks that are homeless or just plain lost about everything and are under employed. Remember that bubble thingy not so many years ago when real estate crashed and people lost home on bad loans. Yeah, we are still feeling that here. Look up homeless in SF or LA. Plenty of news there. A lot of industry has fled the state as well since it is so expensive to have a business here.

Sherrill is notorious for it, shit they ripped of the "Ropetek Comms" and I was doing business with them. Wankoff's reply was "why wouldn't we rip of an idea that makes money?" this after them telling me for years that they didn't condone altering PPE. I strongly urge folks not to buy from them , remember Treestuff is Sherrill too

As I recall; you made cash arrangements, had the procedure done and paid it out right, only to receive another bill you had to dispute.

Yup! You have to visit to understand it. Or grow up around it or live there. Some of those streets are beyond steep. They laugh at 8% grades. I bet people blow equipment motors from oil starvation on some of them.

Fi the treatment is very expensive so they deny it, fooked but just how it is. Lots of folks have sued their insurance co.s and won over this . We will appeal. This is why I bought generic drugs from Bangladesh last time, don't have time or patients for this bullshit. This is just like when we flipped our chipper into the reservoir, had a full coverage umbrella policy over the business and autos but they still wouldn't pay. Our system over here is so broke the rich guys make their own rules.....

I believe if you really want and need to work, most likely you will find something. May not always be want you know or want .....but. There was one time in MA during the 80s that finding work was extremely difficult for me. I had worked my way up to press operator in a factory. When the factory was purchased by an overseas company, a lot of us lost our jobs. A lot of people lost jobs back then in other areas of mfg. Robotics and computers took some of them. Automation. And there was a recession going on. Less product needed to be mfg. I took the unemployment while I looked. Buggered my toe on a lawn mower and the temp disability helped. Then they had a program to retrain me through the unemployment office after my toe healed. State paid all my wages except .50 per hour by a company willing to train me. I can't remember for how long. But obviously cheaper at min wage for the unemployment insurance and it gave me work and a new trade that paid better later. Not near what I made at the previous factory, but enough for the time coupled with a part time gig I put together for myself. Seemed a good program for the times.

That is how right to work is in AZ. Easier to find another job than get unemployment. I was able to join a plumbers union though. But the shop I worked for was non union. So it was more of a learn here thing, and maybe we can find you work later.

So we had a visitor at our job site today. We were burning a ton of brush, which usually flushes out game for the raptors. In fact, this property and a couple others, they have us and the HOs pegged as food source flusher outers. I was less than 15 feet under this one. Let me walk up and walk all the way around him.

I would dig that Norton Mick. Sweet bike! Man can dream. Katy won't ride with me, so that takes some of the fun out of it. After I retire maybe for my ME time.

  1. Hi PC
I guess you missed my post on your HH thread. What is the cost of a Hitch Hiker plus postage to England?
    I'm keen to buy two.
    Thanks.

  4. Hey Paul, I had a chat with Bounce (Sean Tait) at WesSpur after you & talked on the phone earlier today. They've finily completed re-working my Mesh Bag for a production version so it should be on thire website by the end of August.

Sean said he'll be calling you next week regarding the possability of using the Mesh Bag with your Ropetek Wraptor Package.

I'll be talking with a few of the local tree care companies in my area and if I get enough interest, I'll be sure to take you up on your offer of borrowing one of your Wraptores for a demo day. Who knows, maybe I'll take the plunge & buy one from you. (any discounts on a used demo Wraptor???) Likely be in the fall by the time I get everyone together.

All the best to you with the launch of you very cool product!

    Bob
  5. perhaps you could call some day 4234004110

This is something ive put alot of thought and research into its very very simple and its a viable product with no competition.
It caters to a very large user group as well.
Its low tech and cheap but it helps with ergonomics i think it will wash
  6. pete hey man , i have something im thinking about developing and id like to ask you some questions.
My product is extremly simple and has nothing to do with tree work or ropes.
I just dont know how to began production but im so confidant im willing to drop the $$$
