Saw the Adventures of Tin Tin with my wife and kids on Friday . Cool flick. Awesome CGI. Almost forgot it was animated at times. My boy has read all 21 TinTin books and was super stoked.

We REALLY enjoyed the movie.
They took such care to get even small details right.

Ed, I was afraid of the same thing.
But they didn't change it, they paid homage to it.
They even had all the details of the stairway to TinTin's aprtment ( sorry, flat!) right, and the cars parked in front, during the shooting.

Haddock was a bit off IMO, bit neither my wife, nor my partner, Richard thought so.

That's the problem, Captain Haddock is my favourite character - and one they would be extremely difficult to recreate.

I watched this a few days ago. Sort of a low budget Clint Eastwood type of movie.

It got some good reviews in Canada.;)

Battleship was released here last week, havent heard much about it yet except one guy said it was great but he thought Contraband was too.:|:



Everyone reckons this is really good, it's been out for a couple of weeks. First trailer is better, it got some good reviews.

I have netflix and love it! It might not have alot of new releases but alot of good stuff and well worth the eight bucks a month. I like the Jesse Stone episodes.
